We started this day of our honeymoon with a run through Poipu. It was pretty hot by 9am, but we powered through. Then we packed up the Jeep and headed back out to the beach at Barking Sands. Poipu is nice, but so crowded. Especially compared to this:

It was a little rainy, so we didn’t get much sun. We did have a nice time relaxing, though, catching a few waves, and enjoying each other’s company. On the way back to Poipu, we stopped by a farmers market in Hanapepe and also the original Lappert’s Ice Cream stand:

Finally we made it home, had a nap, and then had a family dinner of grilled monchong, pork tenderloin, and fresh vegetables. After relaxing with some Hawaiian music, everyone was beat and we headed to bed. Another fabulous day in paradise.
